my letter to dr. michel

Dear Dr. Michel,

How have you been this past year? It has been awhile since my classmates and I last met you. Slightly over year if I’m not mistaken. Guess you have been busy. You are Medical Doctor after all. Are you still ongoing with your adventures through the Myanmar Rain-Forest? Hope nothing bad has happened to you, such as suffering from a deadly bite or coming in contact with poisonous plants. Are the people to whom you give medical attention to in the area doing well? Bet they treat you with utmost respect especially since you are one of the few to bother to enter such secluded areas to give medical help. Well as least I hope they do.

Anyway, as for me, school’s been a bore as always. The usual routine of having to sit in class and to learn and pay attention to the teachers and to topics of which does not interest most of us. With all that said, I still try my best to study hard. It is after all my last year in the school, I say this with great pride! *grins* It being so, I have my Ordinary Level ( ‘O’ Level ) Examination to study for. This supported with friends and comical yet serious teachers to make things easier for me. Ms. Heng has become my English teacher for the fourth year running. She is also my History Teacher as well as my Social Studies Teacher for this year. Happy with this as she knows most of us very well and it benefits us, students, as well as we are familiar with her teaching methods.

Other than that, the school has made all students iron on the school crest to their shirts. This has caused almost the whole of the graduating batch to some what protest against it. We did not riot but we did question teachers on why we had to use it. We felt rather degraded as it made us look like a “Senior” Primary school. Adding to this, it is our final year in the school which is even more of a bother.

The school has been repainted. Its rather dull but still, its make the school look new.

My class was previously on the fifth floor. This caused the secondary 4 express students to be angry as we felt that we should be on the sixth floor. Like all the previous senior batches. A few weeks into school, did we then migrate to the sixth floor.

There is nothing else for me to say for now. Do hope to hear from you soon.
Take care.

Johan
